LeakFree Toilet

The toilet system is a South African designed, patented and manufactured product and operates on the principle of an empty cistern. It has been developed in such a way that there are no wearing parts that rest in water and has an adjustable float mechanism that allows for the matching of the flush to the pan size in order to optimize the water usage. The design negates the impact of leaks at the inlet valve and domestic environment. The salient features of the unit are that it:

  • Operates on an empty cistern basis with the toilet filling up automatically when a flush is initiated

  • The EcoGen Smart cistern device has been developed over a period of 7 years and over 12, 500 units have been installed.

  • The product is SABS tested and has been approved to SANS 1509:2008.

  • Has the ability to reduce standard water flow per flush (From standard 9 litre to as low as 4 litres per flush) which together with the reduction in water loss due to leaks results in reduced stress on the bulk water infrastructure.

  • Components locally manufactured and assembled in Pinetown, Kwa Zulu Natal

  • Design and patent registered

  • Springs and screws are stainless steel

  • Diaphragm and pilot seal are manufactured from Dupont Monprene – inert substance not affected by chemicals used in the purifying of water

  • Diaphragm valve manufactured from glass nylon

  • Diaphragm valve destruction tested to 40 bar

  • 12 month warranty on parts

  • Bulk of other components manufactured from ABS plastic

STRATEGY

We plan to limit our product portfolio to three items, the Eco Toilet, Solar purifier and Eco Shower Heads, with the Eco Toilet being our primary focus.

Eco Toilet

The Eco Toilet water saving cistern components will be sold separately allowing exchange from old to new without changing the whole cistern.

Clients will also be able to make purchases of new full toilet system sets. The toilets come installed with the Eco-Gen water saving device in the cistern and are of high quality and ceramic, plastic, steel material. Available in white, beige, peach, metallic colour and more.

Leak-Free Toilet Video

A video that shows exactly how the Leak-Free toilet device actually works.

  1. The flush lever/button is initiated by user.

  2. The Floater drops.

  3. Water begins flowing into the tank.

  4. When water has reached the adjustable level (4 litres - 8 Litres) the plunger snaps up.

  5. Water is relesased by the plunger and enters the pan.

  6. The toilet is now flushed and awaits for the next occupant to arrive.

(No water is stored in the tank until it is needed, thus preventing leakage from wear and tear, like traditional toilets)
